Living Lerwick Events Director, Steve Mathieson said: “Comments from the public have been very supportive of town centre businesses (through Living Lerwick) providing all the lights, trees and decorations for the town centre and all the events within the Winter Festival. When people shop local, businesses can work together to give something back to the community. We are looking forward to a very busy weekend and hope the weather holds out for the fireworks.”

Further details of all aspects of the winter festival and recommended business opening hours over the festive period are available on the Living Lerwick Facebook page and Website.

So come down to Lerwick town centre on Sunday 21st December to really put yourself in the festive mood!
