This is a great chance to pass on your knowledge of our town centre to young (and not so young) Shetland people as well as visitors to the town centre. If you have any interesting stories, photos or memorabilia that are related to the town centre, please drop by and have a chat. Any items you want to contribute will be copied and returned to you.
The information gathered will be stored in the “Living Lerwick” mobile phone app. This app will be used to guide people round points of interest in the town centre, educating locals and visitors about our history and culture. The information will also be stored on a website, which will provide a learning resource for local schools.
