This year’s Christmas Parade was amazing!
We want to take a moment to reflect on the day and extend our thanks to everyone who made it possible.
The success of the Christmas Parade wouldn’t have been possible without the tireless efforts of so many dedicated individuals. We owe a huge thank you to:
- Our Volunteers, Stewards & Contractors
- The Lerwick Brass Band
- The UHA Jarl Squad and Committee Members
- The RNLI Lerwick Lifeboat Crew and Ladies Lifeboat Guild
- Shetland Girl Guides and Lerwick Swimming Club
- Quad Drivers, Peerie Foxes & Characters of the parade.
We’d like to give a special mention to Little Miss Sunshine, as well as Michael’s three Shetland ponies and their handlers. You added a magical touch that delighted the crowd and made the event even more memorable.

Of course, the day wouldn’t have been complete without the incredible appearance of Mr. and Mrs. Claus. You both brought Christmas cheer and excitement to the hearts of young and old alike. Thank you for being such an amazing part of our parade!
