Living Lerwick launched a short film this week explaining how shopping local benefits many in our small communities.
The film follows Saul, a young man who accompanies his mum to the Street. Saul follows the journey that the money his mum spends makes around the town, and see's for himself how many people benefit from just one local purchase - which enables many more local purchases.
The film has been published on our YouTube channel and you can view it HERE.
Directed and produced by Keiba Film, the short video has received over 3,500 views and many positive comments since it's launch.
Funding for the film was provided through Business Reslience funding, administered by Scotland's Town's Partnership.
It pays to shop local!
