During the Easter school holidays Living Lerwick Ltd ran an ‘Easter Holiday Hunt’ competition for bairns where they had to identify 12 features from within Lerwick town centre.

Living Lerwick Director, Ben Mullay said: “This has been our most popular competition to date and we’ve been overwhelmed with the response. The hunt has kept a lot of bairns busy over the Easter holidays and given them a reason to look a bit closer at their town centre. Stay tuned to the Living Lerwick Facebook page for more fun competitions.”

Kara Grant won a big Easter bunny donated by Harry’s Department Store and a large Mirrie Dancers Easter Egg. Runners up Kayla Geldenhuys and Eloise Freya March won a large Mirrie Dancers Easter Egg too. Mirrie Dancer’s Chocolatier also donated a peerie “button n bows” Easter egg for every entrant.

Kara Grant said “It was quite hard, so I did it with a friend. I’m really happy we got them all right.” Eloise Freya March said “Some were easy and some were really hard. I did it with my four brothers, my dad and the dog. Her mum said “It was a great family thing to do”. After the photo was taken, Kayla Geldenhuys said “It was hard to do but I’m so happy I won a prize. I even got to pick my own egg”.
