The brief is to come up with a fun, appealing and, potentially, loveable(!) character to represent the spirit of Lerwick town centre. The mascot will be used in various campaigns and feature in events and activities throughout the town.
Project Manager, Emma Miller, said “This is a great opportunity for any young, or experienced, designer to come up with something to introduce a bit of fun into the to the area. The scope is fairly wide, but we want something that just symbolises the toon centre when you see it.”
Entries should consist of an original design featuring a single character which is representative of Lerwick town centre, and should have a suitable name.
