Knitwear designer, Ninian, has topped the poll for the best Shetland Wool Week window display during last weeks superbly popular festival with 73% of the votes.

The event, celebrating it's tenth year, reportedly attracted around 1000 visitors to Shetland. Organisers, Shetland Amenity Trust, claim it will bring an additional £1million into the local economy. Town centre businesses saw an increase in footfall and sales during the week.

Thirteen town centre shops decorated their windows with a woolly theme to go along with the 'find the peerie sheep' competition.
