Superb Week of Activity
Lerwick Shopping Week took place last week and had the benefit of dry weather for shoppers and activity hunters to take part in events. The event was run alongside Shetland Boat Week this year and many events had a nautical theme including the Pirate Treasure hunt, Island Larder pirate chocolate workshops and jet ski taster sessions to name a few.

Flagstone Work Complete Ahead of Schedule
The flagstone works at the north end of Commercial Street were completed on Friday, more than a week ahead of schedule, thanks to recent good weather. Barrier fencing surrounding the work site has now been cleared and the street will remain closed to vehicles until the end of next month to allow the flagstone base to cure.
