LOCUS

If you have visited the town centre recenlty you will have noticed a couple of new floral additions to our normal summer displays.

Four new planters were installed outside the Stewart Building to bring more colour to the area, and extend the summer flower scheme to the edges of the Business Improvement District.

Living Lerwick are grateful to Viking Energy Windfarm for giving a donation towards the cost of constructing the new planters, placed outside their town centre office base. Thanks also go to Arch Henderson for providing the design for the bespoke new planters.

Julie Graham, Community Enagement Manager for VEW organised the donation on behalf of the company and is pictured above with one of the new planters.

Plants for the town centre are supplied each year by Frakkafield Garden Plants, and are once again outstanding.
