32 local shops and businesses are taking part in this summer's World Cup by representing each of the playing nations for a chance to win the much coveted World Cup - although the Shetland version will be made of chocolate!

From Thursday 14th June through to the final on 15th July, the public can join in by collecting an entry form from the Camera Centre, Cee and Jays, or by DOWNLOADING HERE. Visit all 32 locations to collect the country flag sticker and submit the completed form for a chance to win a pair of chocolate football boots made by Mirrie Dancers Chocolatier, a personalised football caricature print from the Camera Centre, or a football from Thulecraft.

If you'd like to keep your completed sheet, just take a photo on your phone or tablet and email it to us at [email protected] by Sunday 15th July.

Details of all fixtures will be added to the Living Lerwick Facebook page, starting with the opening game which is Thulecraft v Loose Ends. (or Russia v Saudi Arabia to everyone else!)

David Nicolson from Thulecraft and Marjory Bowie from Loose Ends are excited to get the ball rolling!

The winning business will be presented with their very own World Cup trophy made by Mirrie Dancers and this will be on display in the window of the chocolate shop during the tournament.
